SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry production and can be used for production of exact copies of different objects from glass. Method of making articles from glass comprises steps of making an impression from an alginate material from a copied object, casting a cast of a gypsum pattern which, after solidification, is coated with silicone material, the resulting silicone mold is filled with low-melting wax to form a wax pattern, which is extracted from silicone mold and completely filled with molding mass, from hardened mass is obtained molding by its placement into heated furnace and holding in it until complete waxing, obtained molding ring is heated at slow rise of temperature to 750–900 °C and poured into it beforehand melted glass.

EFFECT: technical result consists in simplifying production of glass articles, which are exact copies of objects, as well as high degree of identity of the shape and surface of the obtained copy.
