FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, namely to gardening. Cherry tree crown intended for mechanized harvesting is formed with thickened arrangement of bush cherry varieties and directed skeletal branches. Bush-type cherry varieties are arranged according to scheme 2.5–3.0 × 0.5–1.0 m. Crowns are formed by a Y-shaped method on 0.25–0.30 m-high stem out of 2–4 opposite skeletal branches directed to inter-row spacing, with deviations from the central conductor at angle of 50–60° and subsequent limiting cutting at height of 1.6–1.8 m from soil surface with periodicity of once in 2–3 years.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce labour costs at formation of cherry tree crown with increase of productivity of cherry plantations and to perform mechanized harvesting.
