FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of spherical powders based on cellulose nitrates, particularly use of cellulose nitrates with high specific surface to obtain spherical powder to 5.6-mm rimless cartridges. Result is achieved by using crushed cellulose nitrate – pyroxylin 1Pl with high specific surface area and specific heat of combustion, as well as introduction of less toxic than diphenylamine, a chemical resistance stabilizer – diphenylol propane or agidol-1.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing homogeneity of ballistic characteristics of spherical powders and, consequently, efficiency of firing.
