FIELD: metal forming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of cans for beverages from aluminum alloy by drawing-straightening. Providing friction between puncheon press to produce housings and aluminum sheet, which exceeds friction between matrix for straightening and this sheet, by using: aluminum sheet, roughness of inner surface of which considerably exceeds roughness of outer surface; straightening matrices having a smooth transition at the interface between the pad and the input and output surfaces, having a surface roughness in the working region Ra less than 0.03 mcm, and small pad width making less than about 0.38 mm; and a press for producing bodies, in which a male die with Ra roughness exceeding 0.35 mcm is used, and texture, which is identical in all directions. At that, aluminum sheet is used, which external surface, which contacts with matrices, has roughness Ra less than 0.3 mcm, and inner surface in contact with male die has roughness Ra exceeding 0.4 mcm.
EFFECT: higher quality of jars due to reduced ruptures.
