FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aluminum alloys intended for use in production of shaped containers by impact extrusion. Aluminum alloy for making a rondelle for impact extrusion of a metal container configured to receive the end cap, contains from 40 to 90 wt % first aluminum fame and from 10 to 60 wt % second aluminum alloy, wherein first aluminum alloy is selected from a group consisting of AA1050, AA1070 or P1020A, and second aluminum alloy is selected from a group consisting of AA3104, AA3004, AA3105, AA3003 or AA3103, wherein at least one of first aluminum or second aluminum alloy is not recyclable material, and the aluminum alloy composition contains, wt %: at least 97.56 Al, at least 0.07 Si, at least 0.22 Fe, at least 0.04 Mn, at least 0.02 Mg, at most 0.15 impurities and the balance is at least one of Cu, Zn, Cr or Ti. Method of aluminum alloy container production by means of rondelle impact extrusion, produced from scrap material for secondary use, includes provision of rondelle, material of which contains an aluminum alloy formed by combining a first aluminum alloy and a second aluminum alloy, wherein the first aluminum alloy is selected from a group, consisting of aluminum alloy for secondary use, first-class aluminum alloy and combination of said alloys, rondelle annealing, imparting roughness to the burnt rondelle and impact grinding of the rough rondelle for formation of a container, wherein critical buckling pressure container is at least 160 lbs/in2.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of operational characteristics of containers.
