FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry and is intended for action on bottomhole zone of oil and gas wells in order to increase their efficiency. Acoustic emitter for treatment of oil and gas wells represents a cylindrical housing consisting of two sealed chambers and one chamber communicating with ambient medium by means of windows. At that, one sealed chamber is filled with air and has tight electric inlets, and the second sealed chamber is filled with electric insulating liquid. At that, in chamber filled with electrically insulating liquid there is magnetostrictive converter with cylindrical core with electric winding and end straps made of resilient material between them.
EFFECT: increasing the radius of effective action of the acoustic radiator on the bottomhole formation zone by increasing the acoustic power of the magnetostrictive transducer, having mainly radial radiation direction, as well as preventing corrosion damage of the emitter and increasing its efficiency.
