SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of hydrocarbon fuel. Catalyst for deoxygenation of biomass components into hydrocarbons contains nickel carrier and compounds as an active component. Carrier is a super-cross-linked polystyrene. Content of nickel and nickel compounds on the surface of nickel is 2.0–3.0 wt% Ni, 4.0–5.0 wt% NiO, 2.0–4.0 wt% NiOOH, content of super-cross-linked polystyrene 88–92 wt%. Catalyst has specific surface area of 900–1,100 m2/g and specific pore volume of 0.8–1.0 cm3/g.

EFFECT: invention increases stability and purity of the catalyst and resistance to coking in the deoxygenation processes of oxygen-containing compounds.
