FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing paraffin products suitable for use as commercial hydrocarbons or for conversion to commercial hydrocarbons. Method includes separation of Fischer-Tropsch wax into at least lighter fraction and intermediate fraction C23-C50, and said heavier fraction C50+, hydroisomerization of intermediate C23-C50 using a hydroisomerization catalyst to obtain a hydroisomerized intermediate product, separating the hydroisomerized intermediate product into two or more fractions of the base oil, hydrocracking the heavier fraction to obtain a cracked intermediate product and separating the cracked intermediate product into at least a naphtha fraction and a naphtha fraction which is heavier than naphtha, a paraffin distillate fraction containing at least 50 wt. % of hydrocarbons having a carbon chain length of 12 to 22 carbon atoms per molecule, wherein the paraffin distillate fraction which is heavier than the naphtha is suitable for use as commercial hydrocarbons or for conversion to commercial hydrocarbons, and a bottom fraction which is heavier than the paraffin distillate fraction.
EFFECT: proposed method is more effective.
