FIELD: vehicle lighting system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting device, and, in particular, relates to lighting device for vehicle storage compartment. Result is achieved by the fact that the system comprises a controller in communication with at least one light source and an occupancy sensor. Controller is configured to control excitation radiation discharged from light source configured to charge stable luminescent part. Controller is additionally configured to determine the occupancy of the vehicle and to charge the luminescent part by periodically releasing the excitation radiation. Controller determines periodicity of release on the basis of occupancy.
EFFECT: technical result is provision of lighting system for vehicle.
