SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a backlight for a vehicle. Illumination device for exhaust system of vehicle contains photoluminescent part and light source. Photoluminescent part is located on component of vehicle exhaust system. Light source is separately located near the component of the exhaust system and is configured to emit light with a first wavelength directed towards the photoluminescent part. Photoluminescent portion is configured to convert the first wavelength to the second wavelength.
EFFECT: higher quality of illumination.
