FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: fodder additive for broiler chickens includes a probiotic strain Bacillus cereus IP 5832 (AECC 14893), wherein it is dispensed in dosage of 4 ml/kg body weight/day at the level of microbial cells in 1 mcl 1 x 10 9 units. Proposed fodder additive allows to increase the broiler chickens productivity by 217.9 kg (10 %) with the fodder consumption decrease from 1.63 to 1.58 kg for the body weight gain of 1 kg.
EFFECT: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used in feeding poultry, in particular, broiler chickens.
