FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Invention represents a method of lifetime evaluation of the pulp yield in the carcass by the area of the loin eye of sheep, consisting in determining the loin eye area. According to the invention, the loin eye area of the sheep is determined from the bioelectric potential of the surface localized biologically active centres No. 28, No. 31, No. 36, No. 37, wherein the average biopotential is found, and if the value is less than 61.7 mcA, a small area of the loin eye is stated, and if value is 61.7 mcA and higher, a greater area of the loin eye of the sheep is found.
EFFECT: proposed method allows fast and objective lifetime assessment of the yield of pulp in the carcass by the area of loin eye of sheep, in quantitative units, excluding attraction of highly qualified specialists.
