SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for predicting the wool productivity of sheep offspring, consisting in measuring the level of bioelectric potential of superficially localized biologically active centers No 1, No 13, No 54, No 62, No 65, No 80, the calculation of its average value, and with the value of this indicator in ewes less than 38.2 mkA, in stud rams less than 49.4 mkA, the descendants are predicted to yield up to 5.56 kg of 48-50 class wool, and with the value of this indicator in ewes 38.2 mkA and higher, in stud rams 49.4 mkA and above, it is predicted that the descendants will yield 5.56 kg or more of 50-56 class wool.
EFFECT: when using the proposed method, the complexity of calculations is reduced when predicting the wool productivity of sheep descendants; the efficiency of selection increases.
