SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and veterinary science and can be used for prevention and treatment of iron-deficiency anaemia and hematopoiesis stimulation. Ready-to-use injection composition for preventing and treating iron-deficiency anaemia contains an iron (III) complex with dextran as an active substance, a solvent, folic acid, pH regulator to pH 6.0–8.0 with the following content of components, wt. %: iron (III) complex with dextran 0.5–20.0; folic acid 0.1–4.0; regulator pH = 0.5–6; solvent is the rest. Iron (III) complex with dextran is iron (III) - dextranheptonic acid or iron (III) - oligoisomaltoside. Content of free iron ions in iron (III) complex with dextran is less than or equal to 0.05 %.
EFFECT: invention provides stability of active pharmaceutical ingredients in therapeutic concentrations in solution for long-term storage.
