SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and food industry and specifically to a biologically active food additive which enables to comprehensively solve the problem of iron deficiency. Biologically active food additive contains: amino acid glycine, succinic acid, ascorbic acid, iron bisglycinate, zinc picolinate, L-methylfolate (vitamin B9), methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), riboflavin (vitamin B2), niacin (vitamin B3), magnesium citrate. Biologically active food additive initial components are used at the following ratio, weight parts: glycine – 90-140, succinic acid – 90-140, ascorbic acid – 90-140, iron bisglycinate – 90-150, zinc picolinate – 20-26.8, L-methylfolate (vitamin B9) – 0.18-0.3, methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) – 0.0081-0099, riboflavin (vitamin B2) – 10-15, niacin (vitamin B3) – 10-15, magnesium citrate – 200-350.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce a biologically active food additive increasing iron content in blood of people of various occupations and ages, the biologically active food additive contains a specially selected complex of biologically active substances, vitamins and minerals which facilitates iron assimilation and increases its effectiveness.
