FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For the sutural fixation of the "toric lens-capsular sac" complex to the iris in the complex subluxation, preoperative determination of a strong axis of corneal astigmatism is carried out with application of the axis position on the limb of two reference points, reduction of toric lens by strong axis along straight line connecting two control landmarks, and subsequent sutural fixation of support elements of lens to iris. Repositioning of the toric lens and fixation of each support element to the iris are performed by means of two threads, for this purpose, first the first thread is drawn through the cornea and the iris on the side of one control reference point on the limb, wherein the prick-in and the prick-out in the iris are performed so, that a strong axis of corneal astigmatism passes between a prick-in and a prick-out, and a stitch on an iris is located in 2.5–3 mm from an edge of a pupil with length of 1–2 mm. Then, the thread is passed through the cornea and iris on the side of the second reference point on the limb. Thereafter, a second suture is passed through the cornea in the base of one of the supporting elements to the posterior chamber on the needle enveloped by the base of the support element and punctured outside. Then in the same area from under the iris with a hook in the pupil area the first thread in the form of a loop is pulled out, and one end of the second thread is brought into this loop and the ends of the second thread are fastened in the unit, fixing the support element to the first thread. Same actions are repeated on the opposite side of the lens. After that, they return to two ends of the first thread drawn through the iris on the side of one control landmark and the other: the ends of each thread are brought out into one and the second paracenteses, then the threads are stretched, the lens is centered and the interrupted sutures are tied.
EFFECT: method enables achieving the rotational stability of the lens in the remote postoperative period and high functional results due to the precise "hit" of the axis of the shifted toric lens in the axis of the corneal astigmatism.
