FIELD: medicine; ophthalmosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for suture iris fixation of an intraocular lens (IOL). Before the implantation, the haptic element of the IOL is tied with a suture, leaving the suture ends sufficient for fixation of the length. Lens is implanted through an injector. Two iris colobomas are performed in the selected segment, the distance between which is greater than the width of the corresponding part of the haptic element of the IOL. Filament pulling hook passes through paracentesis into anterior chamber, filaments from under the cornea are sequentially captured in a pupil lumen through colobomas and pulled through a paracentesis. Thereafter, the IOL is centered by alternating traction and loosening of the outer ends of the suture and fixing the suture ends with an interrupted suture.
EFFECT: invention provides IOL fixation in a precisely selected segment, prevents pupil deformation, iris displacement and IOL decentration, which enables to prevent the related complications, reduces the number of injuries of the intervention and ensures high functional results.
