FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to aromatherapy, and can be used for correction of psychoemotional state of a person. For this purpose compositions of essential oils are preliminarily prepared. Selection of oils is carried out based on a reaction to odor when inhaled oil by a person. Response to odor during inhalation is evaluated as follows: does not cause any emotions; negative emotions; positive emotions. Oils are selected from among those which cause positive emotions. Composition of three notes is performed in compliance with classification of oils on upper, medium and basic notes in ratio 3:2:1 respectively. Composition of the oils of two types of notes is performed with equal number of oils of different notes. Composition is applied by daily application on pulse points of body for 18–21 days.
EFFECT: method provides the effective correction of the psychoemotional state of the individual by taking into account the individual odor reaction.
