SUBSTANCE: fluid valve comprises a valve body having an inlet for fluid medium and an outlet for fluid medium, connected by a channel for fluid medium. Valve seat is located inside the channel for fluid medium. Fluid control element is displaceable in the fluid channel and interacts with the throttle assembly to control the fluid flow through the fluid passage. Throttle assembly comprises shell (122) having multiple openings (140) defining the flow pattern of fluid flowing through the shell, and a plurality of chevrons surrounding each opening, which suppress noise generated by the plurality of openings.
EFFECT: disclosed is a noise reducing diffuser choke with chevrons.
