FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: seat ring for adjustment valve having a valve body and a control element located inside the valve body to control the flow of fluid through the valve body. The valve body forms an inlet, an outlet, a passageway, and a flow channel passing from the inlet to the outlet through the passageway, and the control element comprises a rod and a valve plug connected to the rod. The seat ring comprises: an annular body adapted for installation in the valve body passageway. The annular body includes a fixing portion and an inner sidewall, the fixing portion serves for attachement to the valve body, and the inner sidewall forms a channel to contain fluid flow through the passageway. The inner sidewall forms a landing surface configured to interact with the valve plug when the control element is in closed position and a flow separator located inside at least a portion of the annular body channel comprising a flow straightening assembly forming a plurality of separate ducts having a hydraulic diameter and a length exceeding the hydraulic diameter, thereby dividing the flow of fluid through the channel into a plurality of separate flow paths to interrupt turbulence in the channel.
