FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to a method and apparatus for enriching ash from incineration plants. By ash is meant, in particular, ash after burning of domestic garbage. Method of enriching ash from incineration plants involves feeding a mixture of ash and water with particle size from 0 to maximum 5 mm into a sorter; sorting in a sorting device of a mixture of ash with water in three steps to a coarse fraction, a middle fraction with a smaller particle size, which is maximum of 1.2 mm, and a fine fraction with an even smaller particle size, which is maximum 0.4 mm, and wherein only coarse fraction is fed for extraction of metal contained in coarse fraction. Method is carried out in an installation for enriching ash from incineration plants, comprising a three-step sorting device with an upward flow for sorting a mixture of ash with water into a coarse fraction, a middle fraction with a smaller particle size, which is maximum 1.2 mm, and fine fraction with even smaller particle size, which is maximum 0.4 mm.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of sorting ash, as well as high efficiency of extracting metal.
