FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to takeoff devices of aircraft. Pneumatic-hydraulic catapult with refueling of starting cylinder contains guide, in rear part of which there fixedly fixed stop with locking mechanisms and starting cylinder with locks of aircraft attachment. Inside the starting cylinder there are two cavities – hydraulic (12) and pneumatic (11), respectively, equipped with means for supply of fluid inside the starting cylinder under pressure and gas under pressure. Firing cylinder is fitted on pipe (8) arranged in hydraulic cavity and accommodating free-moving piston (9), at that, pipe (8) is rigidly fixed on the stop and its inner cavity through the channel made in the stop is connected to the cavity of the air receiver equipped with the gas supply means under pressure, wherein ignition plug and fuel injector are installed in air cavity of starting cylinder.
EFFECT: increased throwing pulse is achieved due to transition to pneumatic-hydraulic throwing principle with subsequent refueling of starting cylinder at initial stage of "throw".
