FIELD: control system; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of estimating the position of a control device intended for controlling working machines. Control device comprises means to control movement of working machine along appropriate directions. A given range of magnetic field values with respect to the Earth's magnetic field is set. Position of control device is pre-estimated using accelerometer and magnetometer data installed in control device. Method includes updating preliminary estimation of control device position using gyroscope data set in control device. If magnetic field values measured by magnetic field are outside preset range of magnetic field values, measurement results of the magnetometer are not taken into account at the stage of preliminary estimation of the control device position. Also disclosed is method of working machine control.
EFFECT: enabling determination of the control device position, increase in the hoisting machines use safety, compensation of magnetic disturbances.
