SUBSTANCE: invention relates to formation of low-emission coatings on transparent substrates and can be used for glazing windows of buildings and vehicles. In particular, disclosed is a method of forming a low-emission panel, comprising: providing a glass substrate; formation directly on and in contact with glass substrate layer containing Si and Zr; forming on a glass substrate on top of at least a layer containing Si and Zr, a layer containing zinc oxide; forming on a glass substrate a first infrared reflecting (IR) layer containing silver, wherein a first infrared reflecting layer containing silver, is formed directly on and in contact with a layer containing zinc oxide; and forming on the glass substrate on top and directly in contact with the first infrared reflecting layer containing silver, the layer containing the alloy, including nickel, titanium and niobium, and formation on a glass substrate on top of at least a layer containing an alloy containing nickel, titanium and niobium, a layer containing tin oxide. Nb has maximum content of metal from any metal in said alloy. Percentage of nickel in alloy is from 5 to 15 wt %, percentage of titanium in alloy is from 30 to 50 wt %, and percentage of niobium in alloy ranges from 40 to 60 wt %.
EFFECT: technical result is providing low-emission panel with improved strength while maintaining or improving desired optical characteristics.
