FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coated product, including at least one infrared (IR) radiation-reflecting layer in low-emission (low-E) coating. At least one layer of coating includes zirconium oxide (for instance, ZrO2), doped with gadolinium and/or gadolinium oxide (for instance, Gd2O3 or other suitable stoichiometry). In some example versions of realisation presence of layer, containing Gd doped zirconium oxide, as the most external or outer layer of coated product (for instance, above silicon nitride-based layer) results in improved durability and chemical and thermal stability. Coated products can be applied in context of window blocks with insulating glass (IG), windows in vehicles or in other suitable applications, such as monolithic windows, multilayered windows, etc.
EFFECT: increased product durability and its thermal stability.
