METHOD FOR INTRAUTERINE SYNECHIAS PREVENTION AFTER INTRAUTERINE OPERATIONS Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/42 A61K38/18 A61P15/08

Abstract RU 2722261 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, can be used after surgical interventions in uterine cavity, as well as hysteroscopy. To prevent intrauterine synechias after intrauterine operative and / or diagnostic interventions in the uterine cavity after enlarging the lumen of the cervical canal and performing the intervention, an antiadhesin is administered. That is followed by lodging the cervical canal for 24 hours by inserting the step-shaped plug into the uterine cavity and cervix. Plug contains a flexible part – a guide in the form of an atraumatic closed end of the urological catheter and a cone connector of the urological catheter connected tightly from the side of its narrow end to the guide. Plug is introduced so that the flexible guide portion is completely or partially located in the uterine cavity; the connector has occluded the lumen of the cervical canal, and its open end protrudes into the vaginal lumen at least 2 mm.

EFFECT: method enables higher implementation of the reproductive function of the patient due to reliable prevention of intrauterine synechias formation following intrauterine operative and / or diagnostic interventions accompanied by enlarging the lumen of the cervical channel, by preventing the losses of the anti-adhesive gel as a result of using the original plug and methods for its introduction.
