SUBSTANCE: pneumatic system of emergency shutdown for turbine includes a locking element, a rod connected to the locking element, and a drive unit connected to the rod of the locking element. Drive assembly comprises a cylinder, a piston connected to the rod of the locking member and a separating cylinder on the first and second chambers, the pressing member, located in the second cylinder chamber, and pneumatic circuit communicating with the second cylinder chamber. Pneumatic circuit is configured to supply excess pressure to the second chamber of the cylinder to actuate the piston to move said rod and the locking element into the inspection position between the open position and the closed position when the first chamber is under excessive pressure.
EFFECT: disclosed device and method prevent clogging of cutoff valve as a result of scaling and corrosion.
