SUBSTANCE: initial rendering of input audio signal based on channel or object is performed to initial output representation. Estimating dominant audio component from input audio signal based on channel or object, and determining a sequence of weight components of the dominant audio component for displaying the initial output representation in the dominant audio component. An estimate of the direction or position of the dominant audio component is determined. Encoding initial output representation, weighting coefficients of dominant audio component, direction or position of the dominant audio component as a coded signal for reproduction.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improved efficiency of coding.
