FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, in particular to gas-analytical measurements, and can be used for monitoring condition and composition of atmosphere. Method for automatic calibration of gas analyzers includes feeding a mixture with zero content of SO2 and NO2, a calibration mixture of known concentration obtained using micro stream sources, on gas analyzer in turn with atmospheric air samples in automatic mode using program-controlled valves, note here that zero and calibration mixture as well as atmospheric air samples are supplied from two altitude levels by means of discharge pumps. Note here that volume of air mix supplied to gas analyzer inlet exceeds that of gas analyzers.

EFFECT: technical effect is to provide an automatic system and method for calibrating gas analyzers, allowing high precision to carry out the concentration measurement in the air, such gases as sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxide (NO2).
