FIELD: weapons.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons and can be used in antitank, anti-aircraft missile systems, systems of guided armament of tanks, as well as in missile systems of inter-service application. To defeat military equipment with controlled ammunition, guided ammunition (1) is directed to target vulnerable zone. At that, ground control equipment equipped with television (2) and thermal-imaging (3) channels, integrating images from television (2) and thermal-imaging (3) channels, aimed at improving information content of the observed situation. Target is detected and marked by threshold brightness method. Target recognition, identification and selection of preferable vulnerable zone are performed by means of matching target contour in complexized image with images contained in pre-compiled database (6). Controlled ammunition (1) is induced in coded laser beam in selected target vulnerable area.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of destruction of military equipment, simplification of design, exclusion of high-tech elements from disposable ammunition, reduced response time of complex of weapons.
