FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to hepatology, and can be used for determining a stage of hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis C. Transient elastometry is carried out using a "FibroScan" instrument. Transient elastometry of the liver is performed by the patient using the M sensor and the XL sensor of the FibroScan instrument. It is examined by means of "FibroTest" method. Transcutaneous puncture biopsy of the liver, as well as sonoelastography with a shear wave in the VI segment of the liver using an ultrasonic scanner Aixplorer. Obtained results expressed in METAVIR points are used to calculate the final fibrosis stage by formula: FRS=(-0.037)+0.187×(FM)+0.339×(FXL)+0.101×(FFT)+0.304×(FLB)+0.104×(FSESW), where FRS – resultant stage of fibrosis on METAVIR scale, calculated by means of multiple regression analysis; FM – METAVIR scale fibrosis stage, established by means of elastometry with application of sensor M; FXL – METAVIR scale fibrosis stage, established by means of elastometry with the use of the XL sensor; FFT – stage of fibrosis according to METAVIR scale, established by means of "FibroTest"; FLB – stage of METAVIR fibrosis, established by means of liver biopsy; FSESW – stage of fibrosis on METAVIR scale, installed by means of sonoelastography by shear wave. If the final result (FRS) is not an integer, it is subject to mathematical rounding to the nearest integer, resulting in integer from 0 to 4, corresponding to the number of points on the scale METAVIR.
EFFECT: method provides determining a stage of hepatic fibrosis by combining diagnostic techniques.
