FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to non-oriented electrical steel used as material of iron cores of various electrical mechanisms. Steel contains the following chemical elements, wt. %: Si: 0.2–1.5; Mn: 0.01–0.30; Al: 0.001–0.009; O: 0.005–0.02; C ≤ 0.005; S ≤ 0.005; N ≤0.005; Ti≤0.002; balance are Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein Al/Si ≤ 0.006 and Mn/Si ≤ 0.2. Steel has triple inclusion of SiO2-Al2O3-MnO, where volume percentage of SiO2 is 95–98 %, volume percentage of Al2O3 is 2–3 % and volume percentage of MnO is 2 % or less.

EFFECT: steel has high magnetic properties, namely losses in iron P15/50, making 3_8 W/kg or less, and magnetic induction, which is 1_64 Tl or more.
