SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production of sheets of non-textured electrical steel used as a material for the iron cores of electric motors and generators. The method for producing sheets includes a melting stage and a continuous casting stage of a slab of steel containing, in wt.%: 0.003% or less C, 0.1-1.2% Si, 0.1-0.4% Mn, 0.01-0.2% P, 0.003% or less S, 0.001% or less Al, 0.003- 0.01% O, 0.003% or less N and 0.005-0.05% Sn, subject to Si2/P ratio of 0.89-26.04. Hot rolling stage is conducted, in which the initial rolling temperature is maintained at 1050-1150°C, finishing rolling temperature is maintained at 650-950°C, winding temperature is maintained at 650-850°C, while the hot-rolled sheet is subjected to exposure and heat preservation at 650-850°C for at least 10 seconds due to the residual heat of hot-rolled steel coils, rather than subjected to normalization treatment or annealing in a bell-type furnace after winding. A cold rolling stage and a continuous annealing stage are carried out, with continuous annealing carried out at 650-950°C in an atmosphere of mixed gases H2 and N2 with a volume fraction of H2 of 20-60%.
EFFECT: manufactured sheets have high magnetic induction and low iron losses with lower cost.
