FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. To ensure low losses in iron and excellent magnetic properties, a sheet of non-oriented electrical steel is obtained, containing, wt %: C 0.005 or less, Si from 1.0 to 4.5, Mn from 0.02 to 2.0, sol. Al 0.001 or less, P 0.2 or less, S + Se 0.0010 or less, N 0.005 or less, O 0.005 or less, and Cu from 0.02 to 0.30, Fe and random impurities – the rest. Sheet is produced by a method including hot rolling of a steel slab, optional hot annealing of a hot-rolled sheet, cold rolling of the sheet once, or twice, or repeatedly with intermediate annealing, conducted between them to obtain the target thickness and final annealing of the cold-rolled sheet at a temperature of 900 °C to 1100 °C, while in the heating process in the temperature range from 100 °C to 700 °C heating is carried out at a rate of 40 °C/s or more.
