FIELD: oil, gas and coke-chemical industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, in particular to a corrosion inhibitor, including sulphuric acid, in form of amides, which are products of condensation of anisidine or derivatives thereof with naphthenic acid, for protection of metal equipment, pipelines against corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement. Amide or mixture of amides of general formula I are used as a corrosion inhibitor and hydrogen embrittlement in aqueous, water-hydrocarbon and hydrocarbon corrosive media containing hydrogen sulphide and chloride ions:

where R is a naphthenic moiety consisting of a mono-, bi- or triarycyclic radical containing 5 to 24 carbon atoms; n = 1–5; R1 is a radical selected from the group H-, CH3-; CH3O-radical occupies para-, ortho- or meta-position.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is reduced rate of corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement of metals in media containing hydrogen sulphide, chlorides and other factors which increase corrosion activity.
