FIELD: automotive industry.

SUBSTANCE: there is a stud inserted into the tread section. Stud comprises upper end protruding from tread section for contact with surface. Upper end comprises radial outer section with first surface, second surface, third surface, fourth surface, fifth surface, sixth surface and seventh surface. First surface forms irregular quadrangle and extends radially inward from fourth surface to flat side of upper end. Base includes a flange lower section provided on the end opposite to the upper end, and extending radially outwards, a leg section provided between the lower section and the upper end, and a shank connecting the leg section and the lower section. Base is built in and fixed in the tread area where the first stud is installed, the lower section having a teardrop shape containing three flat sides and one semi-cylindrical side.

EFFECT: improved adhesion of tire with winter road surface.
