FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, particularly, to internal combustion engines, and can be used in power engineering, aviation, diesel locomotive and shipbuilding, automotive industry, in agricultural and special-purpose machinery. Summary of invention consists in the fact that rotary internal combustion engine contains not less than two working sections, each of which includes gas generator and rotary actuating unit interconnected by cavities by means of common input-output channel. Rotary actuating units have a common power takeoff shaft, at that the rotary actuating unit is a rotary rotor with an eccentric arrangement of the rotor and a crescent inner cavity, containing a body limiting the expansion chamber.
EFFECT: technical result achieved when using the claimed invention consists in improvement of the engine efficiency due to reduction of the working body volume generated in the gas generator, as well as due to the fact that two process strokes suction and compression of atmospheric air are carried out due to energy of exhaust gases.
