FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed piston engine has at leas one additional valve per each operating cylinder communicating working space of cylinder with cooling jacket space and at least one valve arranged in this channel to provide taking in of cooling medium from cooling jacket into cylinder with supercharging during first working stroke of cycle and delivering of air portion during second additional stroke into cooling jacket by pumping action of this operating cylinder, air portion being preliminarily taken from atmosphere during first additional stroke, either without delivery of fuel or simultaneous delivery of fuel or part of fuel. Timing gear drive from crankshaft has gear ratio 2: (T+2) where T is engine initial cycling and cooling jacket is formed by one of several closed sealed gauge pressure chambers filled with air or fuel-air mixture under pressure to serve as cooling medium. Each operating cylinder is furnished with injector. Cooling jacket is made in form of one or several volute-shaped chambers. To provide lagless supercharging pressure rise, engine is furnished with receiver which can accumulate compressed air and bypass it into cooling jacket. EFFECT: simplified design of engine, increased effective efficiency, reduced costs of manufacture, maintenance and operation. 5 cl, 5 dwg
