SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to a device for measuring moisture, and can be used for controlling moisture content of dielectric materials during their production, storage or processing. A radio-frequency device for measuring moisture contains an exciter, a waveguide system, a unit for measuring reflection coefficient, a radio-frequency generator, a control unit and a display unit. Besides, the device includes a unit for analyzing frequency dependence, to the outputs of the control unit, a radio-frequency generator, a display unit, increment measurement units, measuring ratios and determining a maximum, wherein radio frequency generator output is connected in series through reflection coefficient measuring unit is connected to exciter, introduced into waveguide system, to inputs of control unit output is connected from reflection coefficient measuring unit, as well as the output of the unit for determining the maximum, wherein increment measurement units, measurement of ratios and determination of maximum perform function of determination of equivalent parameter by analysis of frequency dependences of reflection coefficient and determination of their characteristic points, on the basis of which dielectric permeability of material and its moisture is then determined.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining moisture content of analyzed material is technical result of invention.
