FIELD: removal and processing of solid wastes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to public utilities. Solid municipal wastes (SMW) are transported by garbage trucks to a plant for separation, processing and secondary use of solid wastes into the receiving department of the plant, into the pit of a skip feeder. Another portion is lifted by skip feeder to upper platform of process chain into hopper of disintegrator. SMW is disintegrated into separation-friendly fragments and fed into one of two types of separators - hydro separator or centrifugal-pneumatic separator. SMW is supplied to hydraulic separator or centrifugal-pneumatic separator depending on which type of solid wastes is supplied for separation and processing, namely, solid wastes from old, dumped dumps and polygons are supplied to hydraulic separator. SMW are subjected to hydraulic separation into fractions as per sedimentation speed of the SMW fragments in the passing water flow. Fresh SMW from urban or settlement garbage containers are supplied to centrifugal-pneumatic separator, where they pass mechanical separation into closely related fractions by their centrifugal-inertial properties, using also pneumatic blowing to the separator center. Bioproducts extracted from SMW on hydraulic separator, such as paper, cardboard, pieces of wood or fabrics, are directed for decontamination with temperature not higher than 100 degrees Celsius in thermo drum at preset time. When they leave the drum they are supplied to the mats for ripening for 1–3 years. After conditioning with bioactive additives, they are used as biofertilizers. Dry pure bio-derivatives separated from SMW on a centrifugal-pneumatic separator are directed to high-temperature combustion in furnaces of boiling layer of thermal power plants with production of heat and electric power.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of sorting wastes from old landfills and waste deposits, and fresh garbage, driven by garbage trucks from urban and settlement containers.
