FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for producing homologous soft wheat Triticum aestivum L. AuAuBBDD form – homologue – according to the second phylogenetic branch of wheat from T. kiharae AbAbGGDD. For this purpose seeds of the latter were treated with colchicine concentration 0.05 % in 12 hours exposure, then plants were sowed under winter. In C3, a mutant plant is found, differing in color from plants of initial T. kiharae, from which a homologue is obtained. Homologues (the fifth generation after treatment) are obtained, which are phenotypically similar to those of soft wheat.
EFFECT: exhibiting phenotypic similarity with soft wheat, homologue preserved some features of initial Triticum kiharae.
