FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: direct current to direct current converter relates to electrical engineering and can be used in power conversion equipment, electrochemistry, for supplying superconducting accumulators, for fast charging of electric transport accumulators. Converter comprises a bridge inverter made on controlled keys, the control inputs of which are connected to the corresponding outputs of the control unit. Inverter has positive and negative leads, which form its input, which is input of converter, and two AC outputs of controlled keys. Converter also has N transformer-rectifier modules (TRM). Each TRM comprises two two-winding throttles and a rectifier made on two semiconductor synchronous switches, control inputs of which are connected to additional outputs of the control unit through galvanically isolated amplifiers. Beginnings of primary windings of throttles are combined, and their ends form first and second TRM outputs, which form TRM input. Beginnings of secondary windings of throttles are connected to anodes of synchronous keys. Ends of secondary windings of throttles are combined and form the second output TRM. Synchronous semiconductor switch cathodes are also combined to form a first TRM pin. First and second TRM outputs form the output of each TRM, which are connected in parallel and form the output of the converter. Inputs of all TRM are connected in series. Free leads formed by the first TRM first pin and the last TRM second pin are connected to the bridge inverter AC outputs.

EFFECT: high stiffness of the output characteristic of the power supply and reduction of its installed power by reducing the transformation ratio of each two-winding throttle.
