FIELD: pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to submersible pump systems for lifting fluids in an underground well, and in particular to use of steam to actuate such submersible pump systems. Invention comprises method and system for lifting well fluids in underground well towards surface. Method of lifting well fluids in an underground well towards a surface is provided by a closed water system without fluid communication with well fluids. Closed water system contains a water storage tank located outside the high-temperature zone of the underground well. Water is circulated from a reservoir for storing water into a high-temperature zone of an underground well for generating steam. Rotation of the downhole steam turbine is performed by means of steam, which actuates submersible pump system. Thus, well fluids are lifted towards the surface by means of this submersible pump system. Steam coming from the steam turbine is directed to the water storage tank. This method is suitable as part of well completion.

EFFECT: higher reliability of well fluids lifting.
