FIELD: communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication equipment and can be used to determine spatial coordinates of radio-frequency radiation source, located on a stationary or mobile object. Method includes the following: radio signal, emitted by a radio-frequency radiation source, is generated in the form of a harmonic oscillation, modulated as the product of, at least, two functions, each of which can be sine or cosine, with given frequencies of the first and next functions. In the host system, containing stationary ground stations with given coordinates of phase centers of antennae, each station performs quadrature reception of radio signal with specified frequency heterodyne and defines relative delay time of receiving a radio signal in the time reference system, associated with the host system. Values of relative delay time of receiving a radio signal are transmitted to the subsystem common for all stations and based on the specified spatial coordinates of the phase centers of antennae and relative ranges from those to the object, obtained base on the corrected relative delay time of receiving a radio signal, spatial coordinates of the phase centers of antennae of the object located in any point in space are unambiguously determined.

EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy and reliability of determination of the spatial coordinates of an object.
