FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for removal of burrs and formation of sharp edges on surface of slots in part. Electrode-brush, made in the form of brush, comprises holder and current-conducting working part in form of rotating beam from metal wire. Working part of the brush electrode is placed inside the ring from the dielectric plastic material on the outer surface of the material, in which there is a conical hole, the smaller diameter of which is located on the side of the projecting wires of the said working part, wherein the ring height is not more than the depth of the groove in the part without the maximum burrs height. Larger internal diameter of the ring is equal to the minimum width of the groove in the part without double the thickness of the burr, and the smaller inner diameter of the ring is not less than the diameter of the working part at the maximum density of wire packing in the bundle. Method of burr removal in part groove includes erosion-chemical dissolution of burrs in liquid working medium under action of current from low-voltage DC source using proposed brush electrode.
EFFECT: invention provides removal of burrs from peripheral surface of groove in part without rounding of edges in transition sections.
