FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used for surface needle-milling and hardening. Said hardening needle mill comprises needle mill, hardening section, first and second rotors, and central shaft. Said needle mill comprises fixed stator whereon wire frieze is secured. Hardening section comprises slotted disk whereat deforming elements made up of coiled-spring coils arranged on disk peripheral surface. Second rotor features coiled magnetic core with its grooves accommodating short-circuited secondary. Stator features coiled magnetic core with its grooves accommodating primary. Central shaft is fitted in the stator central section and furnished with first and second rotors to revolve thereon. Coiled magnetic core with short-circuited secondary is fitted in slots of first rotor end face to make air gap with stator magnetic core while coiled magnetic core with short-circuited primary is fitted in slots of first rotor opposite end face to make air gap with second rotor magnetic core. Needle mill fixed flange is secured on second rotor. Hardening section is fitted on first rotor.
EFFECT: expanded performances, higher efficiency and quality.
