FIELD: methods and devices for metal processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal processing and can be used for lapping sealing surfaces of parts of shutoff valves, in particular, discs and seats of check valves. Proposed plant comprises support with vertical post, swivel boom with fixed rotary drive, replaceable suspension connected with rotary drive and table arranged on support with coaxially replaceable suspension with axial movement mechanism arranged in support lower part. Replaceable suspension is arranged with the possibility of installation of lap seat of valve or replaceable lap for lapping of disc of valve in form of steel ring with detachable cast-iron bars uniformly fixed from its circumference. Table is designed so that to enable installation of a valve disc or replaceable lap thereon for lapping the valve seat in the form of a steel circle with detachable cast-iron bars uniformly fixed on its circumference. There are track-type proximity switches for reversing the direction of rotation of the drive, as well as a sensor for controlling the pressing force of the lap parts.
