FIELD: water supply; sewerage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to public utilities and concerns a shut-off device for shutting off pipelines of drainage systems and storm sewers used for holding spills of hazardous chemicals. Pneumatic shutoff valve includes an elastic cylindrical chamber with sleeves at the ends and a camera fixation mechanism in the pipeline, the chamber sleeves are pressed by means of clamps into two tubular covers, between which, coaxially to chamber fixed reinforced tube with holes on surface are fixed by means of threaded attachment and shaft, movably connected by means of bushing installed in lodgement, formed in internal surface of reinforced tube, and fixed in it by means of locking ring, on tubular covers coaxially fixed tubular guides, into which supports with supports are inserted diametrically and are fixed by nuts, on ends of guides there are installed nuts, one of which is blind and the second one is connected to a nozzle configured to be connected to an air line for supplying air to the chamber through a tubular guide and a reinforced tube with pressure openings, on the side of the nozzle a mechanism for fixation of the chamber in the pipeline, including earrings, on one side coaxially fixed on supports, and on other side - on pins with possibility of movement along pins, on which filter is fixed on one side and annular attachment element for engagement with end of waste pipe of pipeline on other side, wherein annular fastening element and filter accommodate ring secured at pins.

EFFECT: increased protection of storm sewers from hazardous contaminants due to reliable fixation of pneumatic chamber in pipeline and autocentre of cylindrical chamber in pipe at its activation, which provides its accurate position in pipe and filling itself with intrapipe space without formation of slits between walls of chamber and inner surface of drain pipe.
