FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment for bench tests - rocket laboratory engines based on Hall effect, in particular, to end Hall motors, as well as to test benches for investigation of these engines. Proposed rocket-type laboratory engine comprises electric part, magnetic circuit, cryostat, voltage source connection means and plasma-forming substance feeders. Electric part includes an anode in the form of a cylindrical ring and a tubular cathode connected to the supply means of the plasma-forming substance coaxially located inside the anode. Magnetic circuit includes superconducting induction coils made of high-temperature superconducting tapes of the second generation, connected to voltage source by means of superconducting cable. Cryostat is made with nozzles for inlet and outlet of cryogenic liquid and is a sealed volume limited by inner and outer cylindrical walls and end walls, connecting said cylindrical walls to form through discharge channel. Superconducting induction coils are arranged in cryostat. Anode with cathode are installed in said channel. Besides, the test bench for testing the rocket laboratory engine on the Hall effect is proposed.
EFFECT: what is described is a Hall-effect rocket laboratory engine and test bench.
