FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the production of artificial wood materials. Profile of veneer of each of collected pieces of wood after pressing differs from veneer profile of each of collected pieces of wood before pressing. Glass transition temperature of cross-linked thermoplastic adhesive is temperature of normal use of artificial wood material or below it. Chunks of wood with applied adhesive are heated, assembled in the specified configuration and pressed in the press under pressure. Thermoplastic adhesive is cross-linked with the limiting number of cross-links during the pressing step to form partially cured artificial wood material. Partially hardened wood material is removed from press. If necessary, further hardening of the partially cured artificial wood material is carried out to produce an artificial wood material having, in fact, an equilibrium moisture content.
EFFECT: improved ecological efficiency of the obtained artificial wood material, improved physical properties, natural appearance and texture of the wood pattern.
